The new AWS Middle East (UAE) Region consists of three Availability Zones (AZs) and becomes AWS’s second region in the Middle East with the existing AWS Region in Bahrain, launched in 2019.

Wednesday, July 20, 2022, was a fantastic day filled with fun and bonding during our Team Building Day held at Arnaoon Village. Our Lebanon team was delighted to spend some time with our Egypt and Dubai teams, as we created timeless memories in a beautiful setting that brought us closer together.

The event also involved a hands-on workshop focused on Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL. This full-day occasion was held on June 23, 2022, in Dubai, UAE, and witnessed lots of learning new skills, exchanging of experiences, and networking. The Zero&One team was excited to meet fellow players in the industry while also supporting the AWS team as AWS Premier Tier Services Partners.

We took part in AWS Transformation Day on June 21, 2022, at Madinat Jumeirah Conference & Events Centre in Dubai. It was a productive day full of talks and sessions aimed at sharing experiences on how to transform companies using the cloud. As the only AWS Premier Tier Services Partners in the MENA region, we were delighted to share our insight into cloud adoption in the Middle East.

June 20, 2022: PwC Middle East has made a substantial strategic investment in Zero&One with the aim to support their clients’ digital transformation with an underlying commitment to growth and investment in the region. On the 23rd of March, Zero&One organized a free workshop “Immersion Day” powered Amazon Web Services and in collaboration with Redington Middle East and Africa. During the workshop, our cloud experts discussed how Microsoft licensing compliance on cloud is always a concern for new adopters hence discussed the various options that allow businesses to leverage their existing licenses and/or opt for licenses included model and let AWS manage the hectic compliance process.
