Zero&One has signed an MoU with the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) in Egypt to collaborate with the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) in supporting the Digital Egypt Youth Initiative.
Dr Iman Ashour, President of the Institute, signed a cooperation protocol with Zero&One to ensure the training of young graduates on advanced tracks in the field of communications and information technology. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communication and Information Technology.
Along with Dr. Talaat and Dr. Ashour, the signing ceremony was attended by several executive leaders at the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the National Telecommunication Institute, along with executives, board members, and heads of technology sectors of ICT companies that took part in this initiative. Additionally, Cisco International, Amazon International, and Votinet International played an important role during this event.
The initiative being implemented will train 2,000 students over three phases – each lasting four months over the span of one year. The National Telecommunication Institute will provide training in technical disciplines, skill development, and project management for a period of three months, followed by a one-month practical training by participating companies, including Zero&One, where trainees will get hands-on practice and end the program with a job training certificate approved by Zero&One and the other contributing companies.
The Zero&One team strives to give back to the community in Egypt and hopes that this great initiative will help do so while preparing the generations of tomorrow for the tech-advanced world that is to come!
