In the presence of our customers, partners, team members, and friends, Zero&One hosted a Gala Dinner at the Palazzo Versace Dubai on June 16, 2022. This event celebrated our AWS Premier Tier Partnership achievement, while also providing an opportunity for many exciting announcements that were shared. Our Founder and CEO Ali Kontar shared his heartfelt sentiments regarding the Zero&One team and all the dedication and hard work that was put in to achieve all of the success we have seen so far over a short span of time. Quoting Nietzsche, he highlighted the “invisible threads” that tie us all together along with the wonderful, supportive, and priceless relationships that have been built throughout the years and that have built and sustained the dream and journey of Zero&One from the very first day.
As a first announcement, Ali and Vinod AWS Partner Development Lead revealed the launch of the first AWS Region in the UAE, which is the second in the MENA region. With data centers located across the Emirates, this is a pivotal step towards increased coverage and accessibility for local clients. The cherry on top of the evening was the announcement of PwC’s investment in Zero&One, a momentous move allowing for more expansion in the region along with crucial scaling to support digital adoption that is growing exponentially. The Zero&One team is beyond humbled and excited for this great venture that is an expression of the team’s hard work and dedication coming to fruition.
Between exciting announcements, our team members accepted the Above & Beyond Award for their exceptional contributions to the success of the company and its mission. Appreciation awards were also handed to sponsors for their constant dedication and collaboration with Zero&One.
