AWS Security Immersion Day took place on October 27, 2022 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, UAE where engineers and other tech workers learned all of the security aspects of moving to AWS.
This free workshop helped attendees understand AWS cloud security principles and how to empower their teams to create resources that align to the AWS Well-Architected Framework in a transparent and responsive way. Also on the agenda was visualizing the compliance rates to various industry standards in a seamless, action-oriented way while gaining the ability to automate visibility and response to misconfigurations at scale.
Zero&One’s own Bassel Al-Annan, Senior Technical Account Manager, and Chames Eddine Larbi, Project Manager and Solution Architect, discussed AWS Security Fundamentals including AWS Security Foundations, Shared Responsibility, and Identity Best Practices on AWS.
Finally, to wrap things up, a demo was performed on Amazon GuardDuty and AWS Security Hub followed by a Q&A session and a delicious lunch that gave attendees the chance to socialize and network, coming full circle.
