On the 23rd of March, Zero&One organized a free workshop “Immersion Day” powered Amazon Web Services and in collaboration with Redington Middle East and Africa. During the workshop, our cloud experts discussed how Microsoft licensing compliance on cloud is always a concern for new adopters hence discussed the various options that allow businesses to leverage their existing licenses and/or opt for licenses included model and let AWS manage the hectic compliance process. They explained how millions of IT operating systems are still running end of life software from Microsoft and how AWS can help them migrate away from unsecure platforms. The presentation was followed by a lunch where attendees shared thoughts and opinions about cloud migration and AWS services.
