Cloud consultancy Zero&One has hit a milestone in the
Middle East's AWS landscape, becoming the first company to
be appointed a certified Machine Learning Competency
Partner by the American cloud provider.
Already an AWS partner for consulting, data & analytics,
and managed services, among others, Zero&One is a leading
player in the region's AWS landscape.
Ali El Kontar, the founder of chief executive of Zero&One,
said that the latest recognition from AWS “clearly
demonstrates the firm's strong commitment to advancing
digital transformation in the MENA region” through
emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)
and machine learning (ML).
“This remarkable achievement underscores our distinguished
status in the AWS landscape and our leadership in
harnessing the transformative potential of cloud
technology, empowering businesses to unlock new
opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and provide
exceptional customer experiences,” he added.
Globally, over 100,000 organizations are already using AWS
for their AI/ML workloads. According to AWS, the power of
the cloud and AWS' streamlined operations is helping their
data scientists achieve a tenfold boost to their
productivity.
A Machine Learning Competency Partner is a consulting firm
with a proven track record of designing, building,
implementing and operating AI/ML solutions. Given the
field is still in its infancy, Zero&One has joined a
relatively small club of consultancies worldwide that have
earned the badge of honour.
“To qualify, we had to pass stringent requirements,
showcasing our extensive experience in deploying machine
learning projects. Over the past period, we have helped
clients in various industries revolutionize their business
through innovative AI and ML solutions, including in
education, manufacturing, and financial services,” said El
Kontar.
Headquartered in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates,
Zero&One has a team of around 60 staff. The firm is
a strategic partner of AWS and is backed financially by
PwC.
