We took part in AWS Transformation Day on June 21, 2022, at Madinat Jumeirah Conference & Events Centre in Dubai. It was a productive day full of talks and sessions aimed at sharing experiences on how to transform companies using the cloud. As the only AWS Premier Tier Services Partners in the MENA region, we were delighted to share our insight into cloud adoption in the Middle East.
Zero&One Founder and CEO Ali El Kontar hosted a talk on the benefits of modernization on AWS for companies and how to actually modernize on AWS. Ali highlighted a case study on Monty Mobile transforming for a cloud-first future with AWS and Zero&One. With challenges such as scaling, time, cost, and security, there were lots to think about, but the benefits of modernizing AWS are plenty: accelerating innovation and time-to-market, removing licensing costs and lowering TCO, improving ROI and addressing the skills gap, increasing developer efficiency and accessing the latest enhancements, and hardening security while scaling to meet performance expectations. Ali ended his talk with a quote by Charles Darwin that effortlessly sums up the idea behind the forward-thinking approach Zero&One has adopted, “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent; it is the one most adaptable to change.” We are looking forward to taking part in more AWS events in the region, with the aim to reach out to more customers with our unparalleled services and offerings!
